Late Music icon, Onyeka Onwenu was today, laid to rest in a private ceremony. Late Onyeka Onwenu slumped at a party organised by Stella Okoli, the founder of Emzor pharmaceuticals and later died at Reddington hospital Lagos.
Earlier before the funeral service, a service of songs was held in her honor at Fountain Of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos and was attended by close friends and relative
The Late music icon was buried at the Ebony Vaults, James George Street, Off Alagbon Close, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Labor party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi was among dignitaries that attended the burial ceremony and was sighted at the grave side with her two sons Tijani and Abraham, the clergy and close family members, as the body was lowered into the grave.
