The Economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC has confirmed the arrest of former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello.
The arrest was confirmed by the commission’s spokes peron Dele Oyewale.
Reports have it that Bello came to the Head quarters of the commission in the company of his lawyers and was subsequently detained .
Yahaya Bello has previously refused to honor the invitation of the anti graft agency after he was invited in April this year in connection to an alleged misappropriation of pubic funds to the tune of 80 billion naira.
