The President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Godswill Akpabio today got a vote of confidence from other senators.
This is coming on the heels of some online speculations that he was about to be impeached by his colleagues
It was also speculated that the presidency had sent men of the Department of State Services DSS to the National assembly to stop what was believed to be a plan to impeach the Senate President.
Both Akpabio and the Presidency has denied the report of the such plan, insisting that the Red Chambers in united as ever.
