According to sources, some petroleum product marketers have started buying premium motor spirit(PMS) from Dangote refinery, based on agreement between the refinery and NNPCL.
The petroleum marketers include, Total energies, 11plc and AA Rano.
Business Day reported that the product was sold to the marketers at N765.99 per liter.
The marketers it was confirmed has completed the application process via the NNPCL portal
The Managing Director of 11plc, Tunji Oyebanji confirmed that they were among the first marketers to complete their payment and will start lifting the product.
However, it could not be confirmed whether the Independent petroleum Product Marketers association members could join in lifting product from Dangote refinery but it is believed that once the necessary price adjustments are concluded, IPPMAN could join in lifting the product,
Unconfirmed Sources has it that the product is still sold at subsidized price
